Everett, Washington is a city of 108,000 lying at the mouth of the Snohomish River where it empties into Port Gardner Bay. The Bay joins with other bodies of salt water to form The Salish Sea, rich in wildlife and recreational opportunities. Everett is about 30 miles north of Seattle and __ miles south of Vancouver, British Canada. Both cities are served by rail, bus and Interstate 5.

Nearby are the Cascade Mountains with hiking and skiing, Whidbey Island, the longest island in the United States (if it were stretched out), The San Juan Islands, The Skagit Valley and many more natural attractions.

For the boater, Everett has the largest marina on the West Coast.
